We built the podcast tool we wanted to use.

Podwise turns every episode into summaries, transcripts, mind maps and answers you can come back to. It started as a fix for our own listening habits.

Trusted by 115,000+ podcast listeners · 4.9/5 from 2,000+ reviews · 12 languages

It started with a podcast of our own.

Podwise was started by three people who left leadership roles at a unicorn tech company. Before Podwise, they were already podcasters: on HardHacker (硬地骇客) they share what more than a decade of building products taught them.

Making a show meant listening to many other shows. They kept finding brilliant podcasts from around the world, and kept hitting the same limits: not enough hours to listen, and most of what they heard on a commute or at the gym was gone a few days later.

Other listeners had their own version of the problem:

  • Non-native English speakers wanted a transcript to read along.
  • Creators needed searchable text they could quote.
  • Podcasters needed help writing show notes.

So they built Podwise. It transcribes the audio, summarizes it with large language models, and turns each episode into mind maps, highlights and notes that last.

Help anyone enjoy the world's best podcasts, and keepwhat they learn.

That is the whole job: less time lost to forgetting, more of the good ideas carried into your own work.
