Markdown

The logseq dialect: bullets and block-friendly text

A local file; nothing to connect or keep in sync

Mind map

Export it as XMind and link it from the note

What lands in your graph

One outline you can file as a page or paste into today's journal. This is how it reads in Logseq.

  • Episode properties and the original link
  • Summary, key takeaways and Q&A
  • Outline, keywords and highlights
  • Transcript, grouped by chapter if you like
An example note. Content from Podwise's summary of “Doktoro Esperanto”, 99% Invisible.

Set it up once

Export the note, then keep it wherever you already think.

  1. 1

    Export the note

On a processed episode, open Export and choose Logseq, or Markdown with the logseq dialect.

  2. 2

    File it

Save it under pages/, or paste the blocks into a journal entry next to what you were thinking.

  3. 3

    Link it

Add [[Podwise]] or the show's name so the episode joins the rest of your graph.

  4. 4

    Re-export when it changes

A new translation or summary means a new file: export again and replace the old one.

What you can send

Everything Podwise makes from an episode can go to Logseq.

  • EpisodesSummary, takeaways, Q&A, outline, keywords, highlights and the transcript.
  • TranslationsWrite the note in the translated language, or keep both.
  • The logseq dialectBlocks and bullets rather than long paragraphs, so the note folds and links like the rest of your graph.
  • From your own codeThe Open API exports Markdown with dialect set to logseq, on Pro.

More integrations

Bring episodes in from where you listen; send notes to where you think.

Logseq questions

Does Podwise write into my graph automatically?

No. It exports a Markdown file and you decide whether it becomes a page or part of a journal. That keeps the graph's structure in your hands.

A page or a journal entry?

Both work. A page per episode keeps transcripts tidy; pasting the summary into a journal keeps it next to the day you listened.

What about the mind map?

Mind maps export as XMind. Save the file next to your graph and link it from the note; Logseq opens it in the app.

Which plans include the export?

Exports need a subscription. Standard and Pro both include Save to Logseq.
