What's New in Podwise

Clips

  • Save and share moments from the player or the transcript, with audio or video.
  • Every Clip has its own page, and episodes get a Clips tab.
  • Share as an image or a public link.
  • Export Clips to Notion, with separate Episode and Clip databases, and to Readwise as highlights.

Private import

  • YouTube channels and videos, and Xiaoyuzhou podcasts and episodes, can now be imported privately. Before, private mode was for RSS feeds only.

Player

  • Player settings open in a dialog.
  • Create a Clip straight from the mini player.
  • Action menus are regrouped.

Fixed

  • Subscribed episodes load faster.
  • Fixes for share images, Clip audio links and affiliate records, plus styling refinements.

Upload Audio

New

  • Upload your own audio on the web, from the Library or the upload page. Mobile apps will follow.
  • Uploads use extra quota based on the audio's length, because their results aren't shared with other listeners.

Chat with Episode

New

  • Chat directly with any episode.
  • Exports can show the translation and the original text side by side.
  • Mobile app support is planned.

Android & iOS App v1.2.2

  • Interface refinements.
  • A clearer Library, with a list of updates from the podcasts you follow.
  • For You recommendations on Trending, based on your listening history.

Fixed

  • Tapping the iOS status bar now scrolls to the top.
